What is with all these articles telling people how to twitter - what not to do on twitter? Like
this one. I started twittering just to keep up with my friends. I read my friends and hope they read me just to stay in touch. I don't really care if other people follow me or not. I allow strangers to follow me, but it's their own fault if they are annoyed that I twitter that I am eating oatmeal. I didn't ask them to read. Twitter for me is a place to put little bits of everyday life and connect with friends. Seems like a lot of people use if for marketing and making business connections. While I did happen to make a deal for our company with someone here in PC that I met over twitter, that is not my intention.
BTW - I turned off public twitters because I didn't want people at work reading my tweets. And since I had them updating over at facebook too, they were getting read by people I really didn't want reading it. So, that means they won't get posted over to LJ. If you want to read them, you can request to follow snowboardbunny @ twitter. I haven't had much time for posting, so they were kind of a psuedo posting.
I'm babbling.
