Ok I'm seriously obsessed with Lost right now and I missed all these teensy tiny details last night such as the SUV driver being Shannon's dad and he died at 815am. And creepy soaking wet Walt. listen to that. i havent listened to it, but i heard thats what it sounds like in reverse. and if you watch the clip again after knowing thats what it says, it makes sense. forwards it just sounds like mumbles.

yes shannon's dad dies, i think we learned that in season 1 but we didnt know how. in the beginning scenes of the season 2 premiere, in the ER, jack is working on sarah and the paramedics bring in the SUV driver. they say his name is adam rutherford, i think he's 52. and as jack is working on sarah, you hear adam flatline and they say time of death 8:15 (which is the same as the flight Oceanic 815).

no clue about desmond. he keeps calling him "brother" which i think has something to do with it. i read a theory that everyone has a twin somewhere and maybe desmond is jack's twin.

and ill add you right back! ive seriously become obsessed, i was watching everything in slow motion yesterday to see what the prescription bottle said and to check out the mural in the hatch.

OH my god!!!!

I think I want to go rewatch season one now and see all the flashbacks! I totally don't remember shannon's dad dying at all.

I wondered why jack picked her to work on and not the guy.

i think they only mention shannon's dad dying in season 1. i just assume its her dad b/c they share the same last name and there is no such thing as a coincidence in Lost.

and i think jack picked her b/c she just happened to come in first. but i wonder what happens to them afterwards b/c he's obviously divorced or separated by the time he gets lost on the island.

ohh you can help me with this also! at some point in season one aren't there flashbacks of jack like finding his true love? and maybe she dies or something? or am I making that up in my head b/c I do that a lot.

and I agree there are def. no coincedences in lost. I just realized I don't pay half as much attention as I should watching the show!

haha, yeah when i watched season 1, id multitask. id be IM'ng people or doing something else and just listen to lost instead of watching. and the fact that my parents are ghetto and wont run cable to my room so everything i watched was all fuzzy.

thats sarah that you see in season 1. i guess her fiance leaves her at some point (which you kinda get the hint when jack and him were talking and he says something about her being paralyzed and not being able to pee on her own). in season 1 you see jack and sarah at their wedding i think.

its the same sarah. except in the season 2 premiere you see how they actually meet b/c its a much earlier flashback than the one from season 1.

oh god, i must seem like the biggest lost geek.

did you know that when desmond wakes up and goes to the computer he types in 4 8 15 16 23 42!!!!!

and my friend les was talking to me about theories earlier on and her family thinks that they all died and are in purgatory.. and desmond says to jack in the stadium. Brother, see you in another life then.

haha no i didnt. but i was wondering what he was typing! i think this season is really gonna focus in on the numbers.

i heard that theory too but i dont know, i think id be kinda pissed off if that was what it is. or if jack's just having a dream.

and that I think the combination to the safe that has the guns is something something 23 42 and then I think maybe 48

and I would be really dissapointed if it was some sort of dream/ purgatory thing too. I think its a cop out and not a real story.

another one of my theories is that the numbers may also be the rows they are in on the plane. cause jack was in 23 and its possible kate could be in 4 b/c she was in first class..also possible that hurley was in 8 b/c he was rich and would be in first class

and possible that the heroine guy was in 42 b/c I think he walked up from the back of the plane to use the bathroom.

OH my god you have so made me even more addicted to this show than I ever would have thought!!!

haha are you kidding me? you're making me want to pop in season 1 and catch all those little details that apparently i missed!

but im glad that there is someone else that shares my addiction!

the seat rows is def a good theory.

oh and you know how they showed the clip of michelle rodriguez during destination lost. i guarantee it that they find the back of the plane this season and there's survivors. like that black lady is gonna find her husband too.

charlie aka heroine guy is totally gonna relapse and go to town on all that crack that locke/boone found on the plane.

ashh thank you I could not remember charlie's name.

Well I am confused b/c I thought they were only bringing in one new character this season. So I assumed it was desmond. Then someone told me they thought the new character was a passenger and they sat in the back of the plane, so then I thought ohh maybe that is seat 42 person. But bringing the rodriguez girl back makes more sense b/c it gives a reason why she was in the destination lost scene.

Well I am glad I only have to wait till tomr to see the new episode. I can't wait!

yeah she's def gonna be on this season but im not sure for how many episodes.

im really excited about tomorrow too! i realized that its actually more fun to watch with other people so im heading over to my friends' house to watch with them.

and im really glad kristen sent you over here cause now i have someone to share my addiction with!
