Hum de dum. sooo. No current car issues. Last weekend went down to seattle to hang out with all my microsoft/wow friends and Renee from highschoool at Cheesecake Factory for my birthday. Thats right 2 girls and 6 guys mwahaha. too bad they are all nerdy and/or ex-boyfriend. so yah. But it was fun, hadn't seen a lot of them in months :) spent the night at Dena's, then Sunday night she made lamb and brussel sprouts and we got mashed potatos from KFC..yummers. then tonight I'm heading back down to Seattle to hang out with all my Banfield peeps (they couldn't meet last weekend as originally planned) and they're making me Enchilada's for my birthday yay! adn I'll prolly crash at Meghans for the night, and head back up tomorrow. No labs this week, so I dont have to prepare an intro yay! Just some massive grading, stats homework, and I should do some lit searches about clams and things. Then I get to go home for thanksgiving for the first time in aboout 5 years, so I"m excited about that. and of course there will be more birthday times with the fam = more presents errr quality family time...um yah. So that should be sweet, then just 2 more weeks of classes..some exams and I'll have made it through my first quarter as a Grad student. wootsauce!
I'm swimming 3 mornings a week now with another grad student, so thats been nice! between that and walking to school I've def lost a bit of the weight I'd gained from living a sedentary lifestyle the last year or so, so its been good :)
Random tidbit I learned a week or so ago. the "Father of statistics" (dont remember his name) went back and looked at Mendels pea results and claimed them to be "highly statisticly improbable" that he got those ACTUAL results. whoa.
