Car update
soo, everything with my car has gone from bad to worse. Once I realized they had taken essentially the whole panel, I suddenly realized that my temperature control is also on that panel. In other words, I have no heat/AC/Defrost. But wait, there's more. SOO, I get to Circuit City and the guy comes to look at "what I"ve got left" and went "oh WOW they really cleaned you out good." Ie. I'm missing all the brackets that attach all the wires TO the panel. So I have all the wiring but no way to "plug them in." So he sent me to Ford to figure out what pieces I needed. That guy couldn't find a diagram showing it, so had to call Ford and was going to call me back. Meanwhile, my Dad and I decided that instead of buying a stereo it would be better to just put my stock tape deck back in and use my mp3 player. That way they won't keep breaking in and stealing my shit. SOO, just now I got a voicemail from the FOrd guy, saying "I've got some bad news." They also had taken awhile to figure out what I was needing, and then determined that Ford doesn't make those pieces anymore. So, now my only option is to try and find a wreckage yard with my car in it and see if I can find them. I'm SOO fucking angry right now. I was going to drive home this weekend (3.5hrs) and get the tape deck, and while I was just debating whether to bother, I think a trip home might be nice. What WON'T be nice is the 3.5hrs without heat or music to listen and sitting in Friday night Seattle rush-hour traffic. Anyways, rough week in that respect, otherwise its actually been pretty good.
