Experts warn trendy ballet pumps can damage girls' feet
I mentioned this astonishing piece of journalism in comments yesterday, but clearly everyone needs alerting to this terrifying health hazard.
Yes, the Daily Mail (who else?) says that flat shoes are dangerous to us flimsy ladies, as "pump wearers are in danger of damaging their knees, twisting their ankles and stretching the tendons in their legs."
I also love the Harley Street foot surgeon who says: "Ballet pumps do not give you much protection and could put you in line for stubbing injuries and people stepping on you."
