Bonnie Raitt is the coolest woman on two legs.
I am exhausted. Partly 'cause I'm sick, but also because I stayed up to watch the Grammys last night (hey, I'm an old lady; 11:30 on a school night is late for me!)--not even an option. It's like my version of the Super Bowl-- & then my house got skunked again so I woke up & had to candle-incense-febreeze-open windows the crap outta the place for almost an hour, & then I slept really fitfully. The smell was terrible. I was so mad. I hate living in the middle of nowhere, but even moreso, I hate living in a shitty house which isn't sealed off from the outside world at all.
The Grammys were entertaining, though. As always. I luurve music. I was excited the Fiona Apple was at least nominated for "Extraordinary Machine" (whis is freaking amazing, as per her usual. I wish the girl wouldn't keep us waiting so long between albums). And dude, Bonnie Raitt is my hero. For life.
I guess that's about all. I'm looking forward to the weekend. Sleeeeep. My parents are going to Boston for the weekend for a wedding, so I'll prolly chill with my sisters for a good chunk of the time.
