Holiday preparations continue!
I finally bought a small pine wreath for the door. The nursery I went to also had red garlands with sleigh bells, which I bought and wrapped around the wreath. Now, whenever I go in and out the door, the wreath jingles! :)
I would still like to get a red bow for the wreath, though...
I also bought a pretty poinsettia for the living room, with gold foil around its base. My miniature, imitation tree needs only a gold star to complete it, and I still need to get a miniature, imitation wreath for the living room wall. I'm also going to hang up an imitation garland with lights around the doorway, if I can get Mom or Tim to help me tomorrow. (I could do a live garland outside, but Mom already has an imitation one in the garage, so in the interest of saving money...)
Oof, just decorating and hanging up the wreath tonight has made my hands itch something fierce. I wish I knew where my special Christmas gloves had gone to... (I have a pair of slender lady's gloves which I usually use to handle live decorations during this season.) Darn allergies. I am fine sharing oxygen with evergreens, but touching them causes me to break out in hives. :P
Still trying to decide what to get everyone for Christmas this year. Decisions, decisions. Right now, I'm more concerned with tracking down the perfect Christmas cards - I'd like to be able to send cards and small gifts to my co-workers in Japan, too. I feel bad for not keeping in better touch since I left...
Oh, and also, I need to get a SANTA HAT!!!! There will be pictures!
