Welcome to the family...

Now, normally I'm not a cat person. Not in the slightest. However, since we had a mouse problem it was decided that it would be a good idea to get a kitten. My sister's husband brought her home yesterday. I highly doubt that either my sister or her husband would really care for the kitten so we decided that I will take it with me when I leave. I named her Kayla. Though it took me a while to figure out a name for her. I was going to call her Kaylee, but realized that was the name of one of my friend's dogs. Then I thought maybe Kyla, but it just didn't sound right. Therefore, I decided to stick with Kayla. For some reason I was stuck on it being a 'k' name and really happy with it. She's cute, and I'm actually happy to have her.

There's not much else to update really. Still looking for a home to rent. There's one in a decent neighborhood, but it was built in 1925 and needs a bit of TLC before I would want to cough up the $625 a month it'll cost me. Not too mention, it has a gas water heater and stove. Never really dealt with gas before and it scares me a little. No shower, really, just a bath tub, and I'm not much of a bath taker. x.x I suppose I could try to wait out until more properties come open that I can afford and still in a good area. But the better the area and house, the higher the rent. Not too mention, it's hard to find anything less than a two bed/one bath. I don't even need that much room, but oh well.

Since there isn't anything else, here's some more pics for me to share:

What's that?

What?
