Its a beautiful day. The sky is overcast and temperature is lingering around 68 degrees. I woke up nice and late today which was probably necessary, since I went to bed much earlier than normal. I have no plans for today. Its just one of those things; one of the fringes of being jobless. Opportunity has passed me by and everything else is at my control.
I might actually take down my Christmas tree today. Laziness has prevented me from doing it earlier, but in all fairness, its an impressive tree and I'll hate to see it go.
(Plus, I need the space back. Enough is enough.)
Late tonight I'm going to hang out with Casey and we're going to visit one of her friends in Greeley. I think I'm dragging them to Perkin's for a snack if its open late enough.
If I gave myself an agenda it would probably list the following:
Burn the garbage
Dismantle the tree
Sweep
Vacuum
Move Jason's cable to the ceiling rather than across the floor
Find some way to give Issey the Rhubarb I made that he was so kind to give me
Lift something heavy, even if its only myself
Swim
Eat, but not too much
Read, if there's absolutely nothing left to do
I won't accomplish the list, but then is doesn't matter. Another one of the luxuries of being jobless is having the sense of mind to pace myself and accomplish anything I wish to at my leisure.
Leisure. That's the name of the game.
Leisure.
