Early mornings!
Considering changing the layout for Rayjah and revamping some sections. I want to do more with it. So I need to figure it out. I’m thinking of making and Alvin (from Tales of Xillia) layout. We’ll see how that goes, since I was also contemplating a Harvest Moon layout.
I’m stuck in Onox’s Castle. I can’t seem to beat Onox! ARGH. I need more practice I guess. ;w; I do a little better each time that I fight him, so that’s something. He’s harder to fight than I remember and other than the boss that you get the magic boomerang, he’s the hardest I’ve faced. And actually, I didn’t beat that stupid plant with the magic boomerang, Cherri did. (I feel no shame in needing help!) I didn’t play yesterday because I was tired when I got home!
Started running around collecting ice cream ingredients with Terra because I didn’t want to race in Disney Town or do Deep Space. I’d rather do the coliseum but since its one of my favorite worlds I want to do it last. I switched to my old game where I had all the worlds opened so I can figure out how much trouble it’s going to be to collect ingredients. When I did that, I was actually farther in collecting ingredients in the new game! I also got experience walker in my new game, so that’s awesome. Also didn’t play this yesterday.
We had a fire drill yesterday near the end of the school day. I think it’s ridiculous to have them so close to the time to go home. On the other hand, I know that we don’t get to choose when real disasters happen, so it’s a good idea to practice at different times in the day. When I passed the principal on my way out she went, “Wasn’t that fun?” and I had to say “yes” she looked at me with surprise and I said, “I always prefer the drill to the real thing.” She seemed surprised again but nodded. I try to make the best of drills because I know how important they are, even if they’re tedious, I would rather be prepared to help the students than not.
I’m going to finish up half of my practicum hours today and finish working with one of my students. I’ll do the other tomorrow. Then I’ll be done with practicum and can finish up. Everything else is compiling the stuff I already have (lesson plans, revised lesson plans) and writing about my experience. I plan on doing that this weekend. Monday is a holiday, so I’ll try and have them get me the practicum papers back by next Tuesday or by Friday. Preferably Friday since I’d be able to get the majority of the project completed this weekend and turned in. But it would be okay for Tuesday since I’ll already be at the school and won’t have to make an extra trip. The issue with that is that if I do that, then I’ll have to wait to turn in. Which I could do, but I’d rather have it done Sunday (which I could do if I got it on Friday). I don’t want to rush mentors though! ;w; Oh well, I’ll talk to them individually when I see them. I know they’ll work with me.
