Ahahahaha
First week of class, two projects and 6 chapters of textbook reading. Haha. So much for it being an “easy” week.
It’s grocery day today, though, so reading everything I need to is going to be a bit tedious. I need to eat breakfast too. Ahaha, I got up at normal time and still don’t have any time. Okay, so grocery shopping. All done with that, now I need to get through the majority of my reading.
I am now learning about classroom discipline and management! I think this class might be more interesting than I originally thought it would be. Actually this class addresses one of my major concerns. How am I supposed to manage and lead a classroom? So far, it seems that having a positive attitude, treating students like people, and having expectations of them is the best I can do for them.
I still have 2 more things to read. Bwah. But it’s been a long day.
Well, it was a long morning, really. On our way out of Walgreens, someone backed up into us. We had the right of way, and the only thing that mom could do was stop (to try and prevent getting hit). Unfortunately, regardless of what she did, we were going to get hit. It was much too late to do anything for us, because mom had made sure no one was coming and that no one had been backing up. So by the time he moved it was too late. The person who backed into us said he didn’t see her there. (sigh) It’s pretty much engulfed her today. I know its jarring. I was there too. There are, thankfully, no injuries. But he hit us. There was even a witness who said that mom did not cause the accident. That someone backed into her. As far as I can tell there’s little damage to the jeep too.
I skipped lunch today because after Walgreens we went grocery shopping. That put us home around 11:30. Then I sat down to read the six chapters for this week. That’s done and I’m a little hungry, but mostly I just want mom to calm down.
