Writing Updates: Demon? - Devil Inside
Got up and walked to the store for dish soap this morning. It was nice and sunny out, not too bad but still pretty hot for the morning. Summer must definitely be here. Copper kept up pretty well, so that’s a good thing. Then I had breakfast and coffee with dad. I know I have breakfast with him every weekend, but it’s nice to do. I don’t cherish it as much as I ought to and I know I take it for granted. But I do know that I’m happy I get to do it. Because I miss it when I can’t (that is, every other day of the week). I’m also hoping that the walking daily will be good for him (he walks during the day, regardless). He told me today that his goal for this year is to turn 49. It’s a bit of a sobering thought. He’s been doing a lot to take care of himself, so I know it’s an easy goal. But sometimes it still bothers me when he puts it that way. I mean, it’s not enough to really get me down. But it does make me appreciate the things I have.
