Pirate’s Board Fiction: Memory Still Stands - pocketful of rainbows
Submissions worked on: 3 - 1 in progress
Slides completed: 6/ 15

Now on chapter 14 of Yakuza 2! Whoo. I’m glad Haruka came back. Although, Ryuji surprised me. Also, Daigo, no one gave you permission to put your shirt back on either. How old is Sayama? By my figuring she should be 20-21, right? If the incident happened 20 years ago, and she was born about six months later (at the soonest). That would only make her 20, wouldn’t it? Although, I guess if it happened in 1980 as opposed to 1985 it would make her 25. But I thought it happened in 1985? Bah. Anyways, I suppose it’s not important. I just got to thinking about it and couldn’t discern how old Sayama was. I plan on beating it today and maybe starting the third one! We’ll see.

I plan on writing original works on Saturday and Sundays (editing and revising too). I’m thinking one poem and one story every weekend. Then at the end of the month submitting them all to publishers. Just write every weekend and then take the last day of the month to submit everything. And eventually, I’ll get published or they’ll tell me to stop submitting! Hahah, I don’t think the latter would really happen. But if I want to get published, I definitely need to submit more than I am. So, I plan on buying a new flash drive today - where I can keep all that stuff (writings, cover letters, notes etc). It will help me keep it separate from Pharos, which has my PBF writing, school work, and websites on it. Why? I think it helps me keep it all organized so I’m not tempted to put anything up (as I’m not supposed to; some places won’t even accept stories that have been up before they’re edited and revised). So I got a new flash drive, he’s tiny and cute! Therefore, his name is “Hope!” I have three submissions more or less ready to go. I think I’ll give them the once over and see what I can do (if anything) to make them better. I also started working on a new one today. So I’ll finish that up tomorrow and hopefully get it edited and revised soon.

Weekly updates for PBF will still happen, but I’m trying to reserve weekends for my publishing submissions. I think it’s about time I started doing that if I want to really be published. (Of course, I might be doing this backwards. I probably should devote the week to the publishing stuff and the weekend to PBF.) I wanted to start off slow, since I’m headed into the last terms for my Bachelor’s and I don’t want to feel too overwhelmed.

I really don’t feel like working on my power point today! Ugh. I’d rather just write and play Yakuza! Bwah. Need to do some slides! Need to. Have to get this finished so I can breeze through the rest of term (and hey, it makes a break for me!). It’s only five slides. I can do that!

Haha, it also looks like I’m redoing 2 slides from yesterday’s work to make them look better. Wow. It looks a lot better now, but still, it seems I just can’t let things sit. And that was kind of the point of breaking up the task into three days. To let things settle.

Currently backing up schoolwork, writings, and other files! Booya. Pharos is a great little guy like that. This way, if anything happens, I’ll still have my final presentation. That’s what I’m most concerned with right now. Vincent was being a little bratty this morning. So I thought I should back up everything. Especially since it would be a pain to have to redo any of my final (ah, final paranoia). And I got half a slide done today, because I just don’t feel like working on it. Thankfully, I’m ahead and have time to screw around - tomorrow, I’ll definitely get it in gear and try and finish it up. Sunday at the latest!

On Sunday, mom wants us to go to a barbeque at my Aunt M’s house. And I’d really rather skip it as I have very little in common with my family. And though mom asked its one of those things we’re not really allowed to answer. I kind of dread going over there even though my natural instinct is to think positively.
