Writing Updates: Patience - Pocketful of Rainbows
Two words: Alfort Tylor. SQUEEEEEEEE! Mikari gave me a Tylor poster last night (three actually, but I gave one to Cherri). I was so excited. At first it looked like it wouldn’t be possible since she couldn’t trade it via the trade counter and she couldn’t drop it. So I had to redecorate my room (it’s the western one now) and she was able to put the posters up. Now I have a whole western bar (saloon) going. It’s pretty cool. So now I have a Tylor poster and the Landeel in my room. I’m pretty happy about it. I’m so close to level 98 too. I died on the last boss we fight, and I think I’d have leveled from killing it. But Mika was cool enough to wait to revive us until she killed it, so we were still able to get the prizes. I got a Moatoob Sotests (which is kind of like a Joshua tree if I have to describe it). So it goes really well with the whole western theme, even though I don’t have it up. I’m really happy with the way it looks now! I think I like it more than the previous room too.
Vincent was giving me troubles this morning. So I backed up all my writing, websites, and school work. So if I lose anything won’t actually lose anything. I’m trying to back up my music too (which is the only other thing I’d want to keep). But it seems like it’s not working out too well. Vincent’s being an uber brat about it. Laptop’s running fine now, no virus, no malware, no spyware - just kind of slow or freezes up. So I’m hoping it’s nothing serious. If it is, I have some money stashed away to get a new laptop, but I don’t anticipate actually needing a new one. It won’t transfer the iTunes folder directly to the back up. PFFFT. So I’ll just move the music folders over.
I started reading Stephen King’s Night Shift yesterday. It’s a collection of short stories. I’ve mentioned it before, but I do enjoy how King writes. Although, I’m a little disappointed that I’m not scared at all. So far I’ve read Jerusalem’s Lot (which was a lot better than I thought it’d be), Graveyard Shift, Night Surf, and I am the Doorway. Of the four so far, Jerusalem’s Lot is my favorite. It deals with the occult and has a supernatural madness to it. A lot of King’s stories (at least these four) are open ended where someone goes back after the crisis and one figures that it would merely happen all over again.
There weren’t any new posts for my Philosophy class so I can’t work on homework here. If there’s no one to respond too, surely I can’t respond.
