Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ
Bam. Bam. Bam. Silence. Bam. Bam. Bam. Bam. Silence. Bam. Bam. Silence. Bam. Bam. Bam. Bam. Bam. Bam. Bam. Bam. Bam. Bam. Bam. Bam. Bam. Bam. Bam. Bam. Okay. That can’t be the boys. Time to go see what’s going on. Mom tried to call through the window too. No reply came. I put on my shoes and walked outside calling back, “Door’s opened, it has to be dad.” I round the house and he’s sitting in the wet dirt with a chisel and hammer. I look at him and he apologizes repeatedly. I shake my head; find out there was a geyser when he left for work this morning. Pipe broke. The whole looks about the size of a deflating yoga ball, ovular more than round, a black pipe bends upwards towards us. The root beneath it is the cause of its curve, the cause of the geyser, and the reason why half the yard is soaked. I nod and ask him how long he’s been at it. Hour and a half, it’s only seven in the morning. I nod and go back in, summarize for mom, go back out with a water bottle and make him drink.

Wanna shower but can’t since the water’s off. Suppose I’ll just do my reading then. See how much I can get through, maybe drink a soda since the water’s off. Psh, and I think all that’s left is peach tea! NO. Wait! I made orange juice yesterday. Score!

blehish, bad day
