I logged into classes today. I stared at the picture for minutes. What do I see? Atomos and Linblum. I mean, wow. And looking through the Syllabuses this term will rock. Seems like I have some pretty interesting teachers (even though one of them I didn’t like in a previous setting). It’s nice to know people aren’t all they seem. You can learn a lot about someone in thirteen weeks but still be surprised. It really made my morning.

Bel Lenora is a world where people are born with magic at their command. Years ago, a single man walked the land with no magic in his veins. He brought death and tragedy in his wake and was banished by a brave General at a great cost. It has been fifteen years since his banishment and once again, a young man with no magic walks the land of Bel Lenora.
Join Kairu, a young knight, born with a cursed spirit...

The thing I like about Black Sigil is that it has a great cast and a good story. It mixes old school graphics (actually the whole thing reminds me along the lines of Chrono Trigger) with new gaming, it utilizes the touch screen but you don’t have to use it and both screen on the DS. Yay for maps! And I like that it had an older feel to it even though it’s not an older game. It’s got great art too. Its downfall is that it’s kind of buggy and if you’re not careful the game will freeze (its only certain parts in the game so save frequently). You have to start over from your last save. It only happened to me two or three times, but it can still be terribly annoying. There’s also one summon in the game that has a tendency to work for some people and not for others (I was one of the ones who did the side quest and got all the way down there only to have the game be like “hahahahah, no.”) It also has optional characters that change the ending a little. I think that’s pretty cool.

Eggies for Lilz and Cherri:
1. Squirtle
2. Torchic
3. Treecko
4. Piplup
5. Snivy
6. Tepig
7. Turtwig (Cherri; 2k since I just bred Turtwig and she didn’t tell me she needed it. xD)

Life:
Life’s pretty good. I’m enjoying myself. Been playing games a lot.

Books:
This month, I didn’t read any traditional books. But I did read six volumes of manga. Let’s say each volume has around 170 pages (give or take). I read volumes 4, 5, and 6 of Zombie Loan. And Volumes 1, 2, 3 of Black Butler. I feel pretty good about that. And I still have a lot more manga to read, I have four volumes of Zombie Loan sitting behind Vincent, actually. Still, I’m counting this as my accomplishment for reading a book monthly. wait, it seems I did read a book this month and already blogged it. XD I forgot since I spent the last half of the month obsessively gaming. And with school, my reading will be mostly text book related. I’m going to try and get Zombie Loan completely summarized too.

Zombie Loan 4, 5, 6
Peach-Pit

I read these to summarize them for Black Ring. Summaries are there. So are spoilers. Since I’m working on this for the site, I’ll leave my opinions and spoilers there too! :D

Black Butler 1, 2, 3
Yana Toboso

The anime follows the first three volumes very well. One thing I liked about the manga better was Ciel’s birthday. I think Ciel actually had a good birthday and it was nice to see Lizzie’s mom. Plus, Sebastian looks ridiculous with his hair slicked back, so I got a good laugh out of it.

Blazing Souls:
Got Isaac to his third class, which just leaves Zelos. Then I got Fairuza, Lydia, Carla, and Al to their second class. I’m still trying to get Zelos to level 50, but he’s taking forever. Even Isaac (who was level 1 when Zelos was level 47) is level 51. It’s just harder to raise up gunners.

games, school, manga, reading, games: blazing souls
