Historical, Social, and Political context for Case Study 1 and 2
A. Discuss the development of manuscript painting using 2 examples. Include in your essay the monasteries that produced these manuscripts. How did they differ from monastery to monastery? What elements are indigenous and what influences came from outside contacts or sources?
Rant:
It annoys me greatly when people yell at others. It annoys me greatly when someone gets fidgety and takes it out on a stranger. Mom yelled at someone in Wal-Mart yesterday because she couldn’t get help. In the employee’s defense mom was moving around and shuffling through aisles. It looked more like she was browsing or pacing rather than in need of help. And it annoys me because Mom just didn’t seem to care that the woman was a person too. No, that woman was a tool for her convenience. And that bothers me so much. There’s no reason to be rude or snippy with people you don’t know. It’s one thing if I take out my bad mood on Cherri versus a stranger. I try not to do either, but, I’m amazed at how terrible people can be. We need to spread better vibes. I was very irritated by it even hours later. It’s a silly thing to be annoyed by. But my mother raised me to be cordial and polite to people. She raised me to be kind even when people were mean. She taught me that everyone has feelings and that we need to be cautious of who we step on. And she just made a scene in the store. Of course I believe that sewing bad energy also reaps bad energy.

Did a lot of research for my paper next week, since I have to refine it this week. It’s kind of annoying. My topic is online versus traditional classrooms. Obviously I think that online learning is a good thing. But I’m willing to look at all the different options here. I found a lot of information and tomorrow I’m going to read through it again and see what I can come up with in way of something coherent. My writer’s journal for this week is huge and chaotic. Haha.

Wrote a little bit today. I’m so dang fickle!

Life:
I’m feeling fairly good today. I was able to sleep very well last night. I had several good dreams, most of the details I cannot remember. However, suffice to say they were good and I’ll be in a good mood all day because of it. It’s a little odd because I feel extra aware of everything around me, but, I also feel very peaceful - and warm. I feel warm.
