It occurred to me last night after I went to bed that I did not blog about my birthday. By then I was beat so I just resolved that somehow I’d remember do to it in the morning. So here we go.
On the second I turned twenty four. I got up early because mom was giving the cats and dog treats, so Tsuchi ran out of the room to the kitchen and that woke me up. And that was okay because I wasn’t super tired or anything. So I got up said I was twenty four on my blog and wrote and then mom made cinnamon rolls. They were yummy. I opened presents during breakfast. I got a lot of cute things: a t-shirt, fox stickers, a bunch of buttons, and some games (Ragnarok DS, Black Sigil, sands of destruction, and Deus Sella). I played Ragnarok for a bit but am a little disappointed I have to play as a boy and that I didn’t get to customize anything about him. Apparently you can only customize a character in multiplayer mode. So I got to be a merchant, I’m playing through it slowly. Then I showered and played a little more Ragnarok and then we went to lunch with Aunt P. We had Chinese food - I had fried rice. It was yummy. Then we came home and I started playing Wild Arms 5 - PENGTWIN CALLED ME. I got to talk to Pengtwin for a bit which was really nice and pretty much the only phone call I got. (<3) After that I played a little bit more Wild Arms and then switched to Ragnarok until we went bowling. Bowling was fun even though we lost all four games. They announced over the PA that it was my birthday. Any my Aunt M surprised me with a birthday gift. I got a lot of well wishes and hugs. And other than falling twice, I’d say the day was really good.
Since I fell on the second my knees were really sore yesterday. But today they’re only a little bruised and don’t hurt really. I’m very happy about that. Because I thought they were banged up worse than usual. But that’s not the case.
Today I’m going to write my outlines for both papers due, and write my rough draft for writing as it is due tomorrow. So far I have half of the outline for Amaterasu’s shrine done! Hooah. I think I can also work on it Saturday and maybe a bit on Friday too. That leaves me with Sunday (the due date) to write it. And I think I’m getting somewhere in my persuasive essay outline. In fact I may actually be able to write the paper now. Hopefully it will be persuasive (I don’t like writing persuasive stuff)! By sheer awesomeness I have finished my rough draft! Bwah what a pain. Oh well, the final draft is due on the seventh so I have some time to let classmates respond and be like “You need to fix this-and-that”. Which means until then I can do research on Amaterasu’s shrine and work on the outline so I can write that paper this weekend.
Then I’m going to go back to playing Wild Arms 5 and give Fereyedoon the beat down he deserves. OMA. I don’t mean that he deserves it really. He’s the first boss I’ve had trouble with! He beat me twice! Twice!. So I’m thinking some extra levels will help - I’m level fifty-two, he’s level fifty-four or fifty-six. I can’t really remember since it was last night. He’s also the first boss to be higher level than me. His instant death attack really isn’t helping my case either. In all honesty, he’s very cool and he’s one of my favorite characters in the game.
Done. Finally. At 3:30. Been working all day, with some breaks of course. But I’m so epic I wrote a paper and did a load of laundry. D;
