I want to do something semi-productive... so I decided I'll write in here.
It's my first free weekend in a long time. I'll probably go back to my dorm Monday, look at my schedule book and find out I had things to do, but that's a risk I'm willing to take.
Steph and I kinda officially have an apartment! Well, I mean we have it as long as all goes according to plan. We put down a deposit today so they'd keep it for us. It's pretty close to Hofstra and down the street from the train station (so, minus the neighborhood, it's a perfect location). The place is very security conscience (good thing to be in Hempstead) and the apartment is huge. It's only a one bedroom, but it's big enough for us to either make another room in the living room area or both sleep in the bedroom dorm-style. It's so nice, and everything is included except electricity. The price is really reasonable... I'm rambling, but I'm just really happy we found an awesome apartment. Now, I just need to find a job.
It's almost Halloween, and I didn't do anything for it. How sad. There's always next year.
Oh, exciting things coming up in November... taking Steph to a special birthday event in the city (she reads this, so I can't give away too much), going to the Cape for a weekend, trips to the bars now that Steph will be 21, Thanksgiving with Eric in Mass (though I'm a little nervous about that one). November is really happening for me, huh? Almost like I have an actual social life.
I'm not really sure how to end this one. I suppose I'll just say "until next time" and leave it at that.
So... until next time.
