This is the third time I reread the fic and till today I still can't help but love this fic. Sorry it took so long to write the comment. It's super messy. Now... Let's see if this make sense to you. Warning: This is gonna be long~ I have to cut into two because there's a limit to the number of words for comment...
I really hate Yui from the start till the end. I wanted to try to like her character but there's really isn't anything to like. She's one hell of a witch in this fic. The thought of how insane she could be just to get what she wants scares me. She should be locked up in those mental institute to repent on all the things that she did. Then again in a happy story you need an evil witch to give the spice deshou~ I was literally cursing her each time she appears. Like seriously! When a guy doesn't like you, get the message! Being possessive over Ueda is one but even Maru! My gawd! I really thought after Maru left her after finding out the truth, they wouldn't get engage but it had to happen. People should really stop with the mindset "If they look innocent, they wouldn't even harm an ant." Even her parents! For goodness sake! The parents are useless!! Actually at the end, I felt like of o was there, I would take the gun to shoot her head off. Just because you can't get happiness, doesn't mean you have the right to destroy others happiness. It's a good thing she was taken away at the end. Hopefully she won't be out for a long long time.
Maru is just a peach~ omg... Being true to his promise is such a noble act. Though sometime, I have to say, it gets on my nerve he listens to that liar. It really touched my heart how hard he tries to win Koki's heart. Even when Koki had forgotten him, he had tried his best to make friends with him. Though it was his fault to start with for causing poor Koki to feel the pain... I can't help but squeal at all the attempt kisses he did on Koki because they are too cute! The whole TaNaka little episodes are too much to resist! I was a bit disappointed when he didn't believe Koki, okay VERY disappointed. How can he actually not trust the person he love? Even if he love his cousin so much, there's a limit to it. In the first place, when someone not from your family tells you something you should already find that something is already off! *sigh* I'm just glad they ended up together.
Koki's character is just adorable~ being a badass guy yet he have a soft spot for people he love and care for. His character is just lovable and I really couldn't get enough of it. Each time when it comes to his part, it's just full of fluff I feel so tingly inside. They last part made me hold onto my iPad and I was holding my breathe for a moment before I continued reading. I was crying really badly thinking he had died! I was screaming "Koki!! No!!" at my screen. He's alive and that made me slap myself silly and cry tears of joy~ just when Maru and Koki finally could be together it's like the danger doesn't disappear. It makes me feel like it's Ueda and Junno all over again.
Kame is all sum into one word: awesome. I love how he tame Jin here. I love their little love story too. It's just so cute!! A good friend, a good butler/chauffeur and a good husband. Hahaha. He's everything that Jin will ever need.
Jin in a dress. Hahahahahahah okay. I can picture that for sure. He's character is like he's having PMS. Of course, the reason is usually either Kame or Junno. They're forever giving him the mood swings.
Gackt character kind of made me feel like he's not trustworthy. However, he does care about Ueda and Junno and he showed that he cared so he did gain back my trust. Helping his brother and Junno a bit at the end too was admirable. Although he could have just ignored everything and take Junno away, he didn't.
Grandma Jin is just hilarious! She's like a cranky old fairy godmother! I'm glad help Junno and Ueda to be together. Funny how Junno called her just to get Ueda to go grocery shopping with him.
Satomi a short moment in the story but a cute character. I was really hoping that she could have ended up with Gackt. That would really be sweet and cute.
Ueda is such a strong character. He knows what he is doing and I can feel how much he love, care and is possessive over Junno. I bet if he could, he would just tie Junno to his bed and not let him out of the room. I was upset when he actually parted with Junno but then he actually gave such a noble answer of going away to be stronger to protect Junno. THAT made me salute him. He wants to be stronger to protect the person he love and that is admirable.
Junno's character can be describe in one word, adorkable. Really. His naivety is just amazing. You don't get to see this kind of characters in fics nowadays. He's too cheerful for his own good. Not in a good way either. Of course, it's a good thing he have so many good people to take care of him.
And now! For the story as a whole! I do pity Junno that even at the start his life wasn't nice to start with. Being an orphan because your parents was killed and not having a relative is one thing but being bullied after and having to face so many cruel things after that is just so horrible for one person. Yet this guy is still able to be strong enough to smile everything off. I know the feeling of smiling when you don't mean it... Trying to be strong so others wouldn't worry about you.
I'm glad that Koki is there to protect him from everything that would harm the boy. Even till the end, he was there for Junno. Of course, the knight in shining armor came and saved Junno from the misery too. Both Junno and Ueda are dense. Junno is denser but both being dense is too much.
I'm glad at the end, they were able to meet again and be together. Maru and Koki are just full of fluff even when they meet again. Junno is too funny how he lied and Ueda's cheekiness and possessive are just the right thing to pull Junno back into his love. I'm glad Ueda's mom let him go and being able to see Ueda smile grow more each day because of Junno in each picture. That's the kind of love we would love to have.
I love Winnie the Pooh. A big fanatic so reading it being in here is just a bonus for me. So cute how Koki wanted it and Maru gave it to him.
Overall, I love this! I really wouldn't mind rereading it again. This fanfic always marked the few journey of my life coincidentally but I guess that's fate so I'll treasure this fic a lot. Thank you so much for writing this wonderful and beautifully story. お疲れ様でした！＼(^o^)／
