one night when i was in the desert we went to a pizza parlor. they had a pretty interesting fun zone in there. i dont think they had gotten any new games since approx 1995 and most did not work. their selection included a diehard game, a hook (the movie) pinball machine, some kind of aerosmith shooting game, "skee-daddle" skeeball, and a candy claw machine with a huge sign saying "do not eat candy in the funzone". even the fluorescent pink mechanical horse looked dejected, its head pointed towards the floor in shame. i think there was supposed to be a birthday party going on, but someone was vacuuming the whole time.
upon entering the room, my friend instantly got 5 dollars worth of tokens...i was like whaat are you doing?? most of the games we tried just ate up our money. being in that room made my hands feel instantly dirty. at one point i noticed a ball pit with no kids in it, but with several pairs of unclaimed shoes and socks strewn on the floor. i stared at the pit for a while. i thought saw movement-- but....nothing. guess ill never know what exactly happened. if anything
