Okay, I'm coming out of the closet:
I am in love with the Jonas Brothers.
Haven't heard of them? You're probably 20, or older, then.
For anyone who doesn't know who they are, they're a band consisting of three boys: Nick [15], Joe [18], and Kevin [20].
They've been signed as a band since before 2006, but recently was discovered by Disney, which made them rocket up high amoung young adults, and teeny boppers.
Anyways, they were touring with Hannah Montana, but I couldn't afford $3000 a ticket. Luckily, they're starting their own tour. In which one of their stops is Portland, Oregon. Unfortuneately, they aren't selling floor tickets online...
So, I am driving 400+ miles to PORTLAND to get the the box office to get floor seats.
Am I insane?
My friend, Alec might be taking me, but if he doesn't, I already looked it up, and I'm taking a fucking bus.
No joke.
I'm going. And I'm risking a little bit.
You see, it isn't going to be first come first serve, they're doing a lottery-style. Everyone in line gets a number, and say they choose number 50, then 50 will get their tickets, then 51, 52, 53, etc until they run out.
So I'm recruiting everyone I know in Portland to go. Because I NEED these tickets. They're coming around here once, and then they're filming for their TV show.
I'm selling my guitar to get money for these tickets.
concerts,
