Goodbye Marlene
Top Girls is over. Reviews said it was "the best school production they'd ever seen" and that my acting was "exceptional". School is like compliment city. I am really proud of myself. It's the best thing I have ever done.
Marlene was such a big part of my life. It was really nice knowing her. Top Girls affected me profoundly. Minnsy said Top Girls was only possible with me to play marlene, she has been waiting for 2 or 3 years.
Out of Shakespeare festival 24 people get picked to go to the workshops then 20 get selected to a scholarship with the globe theatre in london. I have been selected along with sam mannering and jacqui. I am so over the moon.
I sit in bed at night with my "complete works of shakespeare" and my "complete guide to shakespeare's words" and read. Stanivlaski's "an actor prepares" is by my pillow. Theatre makes my life complete and full of goodness.
