That's so weird! Jack Vettriano is my mum's favourite artist - we have his paintings dotted about all over the house! Lol! Sorry it has been SO long since I've spoken to you! We moved house really recently and for a while I was without internet access!! And I've only just got back on livejournal!! Lol! I'll try and explain best as I can how I did my banner etc!!

Right, yep, I've got a free account. Under journal --> Customize journal you need to be using the S2 style system. Then under 'custom options --> custom CSS' ensure all the options are set to 'yes' and then you need to put this code in the box:

position: relative;
width: 100%;
height: 386px;
background-image: url("http://usera.imagecave.com/natalievj2/LexieIloveyou.3730.png");
background-position: center;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
}

Although change the height and the url depending on what picture you want to use!

Then under 'images' and 'colours' you can change the background and colour style of the template you select.

Taadaaa! I think I need to do a new one meself, getting a bit bored of the one I've got atm!!

How weird lol, he's my mum's fav artist as well, we have one of his paintings in our lounge room.
I've got a viral infection right now so once i finish my assignment and sleep for a few days i'll have a go at what you've told me.

Oh no! Get well soon, that's not nice!! Ughh, assignment huh, tell me about it! I've got coursework due in tomorrow which I still haven't finished yet, and an essay and some maths homework... should really get started on it all really?? lol. Hope you're better soon! xxxxxxx

Nat I can't get it to work, I don't know if it's different tot he UK version or whether i'm just missing something but my custom css page says-

Use layout's "Base Weblog" stylesheet Yes

Custom external stylesheet URL (you have to type something here)

Custom stylesheet (where i put the code)

Then I save it and it is the same as always :(

Any ideas?
