Bert and Hernia
I am in my third day of recovery from surgery to fix an inguinal hernia and associated procedures. The "associated procedures" went better than expected. As for the surgery itself - I didn't feel a thing, thanks to the anesthesia. I'm not really in the mood to comment much right now about all the events, as the vicodin has kicked in and I'm incredibly drowsy. But I will say this: pre-op nurses and staff at michigan are awesome, post-op nurses and staff at michigan are bitches. B-I-T-C-H-E-S! I have yet to be awed by the wonder that is Colase. The best weather of the season and the most lively time of the year always manages to be when I'm confined to some room somewhere. The newest Girl video depresses me with my feeble skateboarding abilities. Kellogg's stuffing mix, although vegetarian, is nowhere near as tasty as Stove Top. To let y'all know, I'm feeling a bit more healthy and I can't wait to fall asleep to My Dog Skip on the dvd/tele. To be continued.
