So! Would you rather have the BIRD FLU or be able to fly in SPACE?

So... I am one step closer to getting a full time job. Haha, it just may never come, but at least I'm getting there. One of the jobs (the better one) called me Friday and I didn't get the call until it was too late. So I wondered all weekend if I had gotten the job. I called today and she told me that they are holding off hiring full time for now, but that she has a project for me. Disappointment and story of my life. Well, it turns out she wants me to help get all of their past magazines online (500 magazines!), so this will be a couple month project (or until it gets done) of maybe 3 full days a week. It involves a new program that I'll be trained on, so it's not really web design per se. So anyway, I will do that and hopefully they will hire me full time after this! I think they are trying to get to know me a little before they hire me, but I just don't get why they interviewed so many people for this job and then aren't hiring yet? Unless this was part of their plan from the beginning. Hmmm, now I'm reading into this too much. So I am actually excited about this. At the very least, it will be good experience and it will give me some money to save. So yeah, unless I hear from that other place and they want to hire me full time, my plan is to start this part time thing January 2nd while still doing Michael's the other days. We'll see what happens from there.

By the way, my life seems to be gravitating toward web design! Ew! Why?? The Exodus site was a nightmare up until that creepy Spaniard got fired. (Yeah, she fired him because he wasn't getting anything done). Now I'm working with another girl and it's going much better. I also got asked by a friend at work to design a site for her and now my aunt wants one!! Dang! As long as I go my own pace and teach myself I should be good.

Has anyone seen the Lake House? It's a decent movie, I enjoyed it. BUT, Keanu Reeves needs to stick with action movies. He's not exactly a mushy, romantic guy. He tries to be tough all the time, and that doesn't go with movies like this. Anyhow, the best part of the movie (EVERYONE needs to see this) is when he is sitting on his couch looking at his reflection in the window and he sneezes. It's not just any sneeze. This is the worst acted out sneeze in movie history. I could fake sneeze better than that. He draws it out and makes an animal face and then it comes out, and it is just horrible. My roommate and I watched the sneeze twice and died laughing. I think it should be an outtake.

I ordered online my middle eastern cookbook!!!!! I am so excited! The first thing I'm going to learn to make is Grape Leaves, and probably Hummus. And then Tabouli! And how to cook lamb meat! MMMMM, I'm getting so hungry!
