Radio Birdman show
Last night I went to see Radio Birdman, before the show I prepped with the record- Radio Birdman is one of those bands that I have the record, I listen to it maybe 2x a year, dig it completely and then put it away, repeat process. A very good record but not an everyday thing right?
What words can i use to describe last night? The old stuff was true to what was on the record, only a lot better b/c of the visual entertainment factor. The newer stuff was different but still really good- honestly, I probably won't get the new record, just because I don't listen to the old record that much but what I saw and heard last night was perfection- the short story: as good as they are on record, you have to see them live.
And as lagniappe, I met one of the dead milkmen, the really cute one Joe, over the weekend. Ha ha! I suppose it was only a matter of time here in Philly. Really made me remember being 15 again- total geeketry!
