So today was the BEST! ok so not the ABSOLUTE best, but it was still pretty great. I woke up to my phone saying "hey wake up, you have a voice mail" so I did and I checked the voicemail. It was BRIAN!!! I almost cried from a combination of sheer joy of hearing his voice agian and at the same time having missed the call (my phone was on vibrate). Anyway, he said he would call back later, so now I'm just waiting =D
English was great because today was our tv show critique day. We have our own tv critique paper due Monday, but today was a practice run. We got to watch an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and then write up a mini critique. As luck (or lack of luck) would have it, my teacher picked my very favoritest episode for us to watch in class, and yes, it is in fact the only episode I've ever seen. For those of you who have seen it, it was "Hush", the episode when "The Gentlemen" come to Sunnydale and steal everyones voices and then rip out their hearts, so they are actually more like the opposite of Gentlemen, like evil floaty heart stealing Grinny feinds. Generally I don't think that is the opposite of a gentleman, but it works in this situation. So yea, that was fun times for sure.
Oh yea I almost forgot: The projectors at school have problems sometimes and, thus I give you the first nominee for The 2008 Perfect Timing award: in the episode the teacher asks this guy to come up to the front of the class and make out with Buffy and after the lock lips and really start getting into it, the projector pops up a notice in the middle of the screen saying "CHECK FOR AIR FLOW" lol, the whole class started laughing, it was awesome. Finally, does anyone own any or all the Buffy seasons on dvd (VHS works too I guess)? If so, I would very much like to borrow it =)
