I don't really like Torchwood, but I enjoyed this very much, especially the Lovecraftian yeti link... I did wonder if the Torchwood team would run into the Abominable Snowmen (I was hoping Owen would come to a sticky Yeti-related end!) but this was even better.

Thanks -- I only caught the last few episodes of TW myself, so this was just a bit of silliness inspired by the Two stories. :) Come to think of it, the Yeti are a bit Lovecraftian (insofar as I know from hearing about it, not having read it).

I too know little of Lovecraft (other than what everyone knows, i.e. Old Ones, stories that end with the words 'they are coming', and Cthulu saves you for last), but I've read repeatedly that there's quite a lot of Lovecraftian influence tucked away in aspects of Who.
