New days can be brighter..
Today has gone soooo much better (on the whole). I went to the British Library this morning. Read a really useful essay by Baudrillard that should inform some of my analysis a bit - make it seem much better informed. Then I started to edit and tinker away with my dissertation (actually enjoying it) and my stupid laptop crashes 3 times in under 30 mins. So rather than risk losing work... I pop it all on my memory stick and go to come home. Felt a bit dejected, as was finally managing productivity.
But...
as I was walking out I bumped into a friend, who I had lunch with and many chats. If that wasn't sociable enough, when I was then about to leave to go to the tube I saw another friend. This afternoon ended up being academic chats galore but I'm still home in time to do lots more writing.
Thanks for those comments yesterday - they helped. It was just one of those bleak moments I think.
