It's good to be a girl
So me and one of my besties went to a Reel Big Fish concert a few hours ago. And because we are (rather short) girls, we had the attention/protection (because we were up front, smooshed against the rail) of not one but TWO security gaurds, and the nice guy (who was about 7 feet tall and well muscled) behind us protecting us from the idiot moshers. And then, at the merch table, one of the guys in the band was trying to get me to buy a CD, but I told him I still needed to pay parking. He looked around to make sure no one was watching, and then handed it to me. FOR FREE. I gave him a hug, and we had a nice chat. And then for parking, it was supposed to be $16. The guy behind the counter asked for the $16, but then changed it to $6.
So now I'm home and my ears are ringing. It was an AMAZING concert, all three bands were energetic and interacted with the crowd and played the songs I wanted to hear.
And I found the guy in the band on facebook, and sent him a nice message saying something like "Hi, I was at the show tonight and you traded me a CD for a hug. Just wated to say thanks :D". He was a nice boy...
Anyway, I am going to try to go to sleep now, but I don't think it will be possible with the ringing and phantom ska/rock music going on in my head. But wer're gonna try.
