College, you kill me dead x_x

Oh, wow. Three-ish weeks left. Shit. I am so woefully unprepared for my finals.

So in this past week:

-Bombed my chem midterm. Que freakout.
-Did slightly better than last time in math midterm. Que small victory dance in head. Though I still scored below average. But only by 3 points. And average was exactly 50%.
-Went to undergrad advising with my LISTS OF AWESOMENESS that have all of the requirements for my prospective majors and minors with the requirements I have satisfied indicated. And according to my list, I am about 1/3 of the way through all of the lower requirements for Integrative Bio, almost 1/3 for Molecular and Cell Biology, and only need four more classes for Public Health. OMG YOU GUYS. I COULD BE DECLARING BY NEXT YEAR. After talking it over with my advisor, I am intending Public Health with a concentration in Biostatistics with a minor in Anthropology.
-I have realized my goal in life: I want to be a cat lady. I cannot wait to be a grad student and live alone in my apartment with my CATS that will LOVE ME UNCONDITIONALLY in that distaining way that cats do. And I want to be a lab rat. For those of you who watch Bones, I want to legitly be able to declare that I am KING OF THE LAB!
-Went to the admittance fair on campus with my sister, grandparents and little (pshhh he's four years younger and four inches taller; who am I calling little?) cousin. Had fun at the "hands on science" booths and tables. I got to play with dry ice and talked to the nice chem grad student. Then we took the bus UP UP UP into the hills to see the Lawrence Lab museum, which was free that day. We had so much fun! My sister and I raced to see who could finish a bucky ball puzzle first, and we all saw two astronomy presentations: one on the closest stars/galaxies to earth, and another one on telescope technology and how we are using it. And OMG amaaazing 3-d technology. I want to play with 3-d simulations!
-Met the band Cold War Kids. No joke. They played a concert on the steps of the library at the end of the admittance fair, and I was able to push my way up to the front near the end. Sis and I tried to snag a setlist, but one of the workers took it. booo. So we started walking away, and saw the boys from the band just standing around, talking/signing/suffering the indignities of having their photographs taken. So we went, got autographs, and took pics with them. YESSSSS. I don't even care that I was a stupid fangirl and look terrible in the pics.

college, hell yes, me, school, ohemgee, music
