It has occured to me, that, MOST guys are all the same. They all appreciate hotness , how big a girls boobs are, or how much skin shows in her barely there outfit. Granted, to each her own, but I am (happily) not one of those girls. What irks me is that the average boy doesn't appreciate the difference between hotness and beauty. Now, granted, I am friends with a few boys who do know the difference, and I feel like I have a better friendship with them than I do with the other ones. My friend Gideon, for instance, as telling me yesterday "Guys don't appreciate true beauty. The kind that never dissapears." And I'd have to agree with him
I know a guy, who saw a hot girl, and is so desperate to have a girlfriend/get some action, that he'll walk over anyone to get it. Granted, he has no idea he's doing it, but the need for a "hottie" in the high school male is truly grotesuqe.
Perhaps, maybe, I'm a bit hurt. I am with a few of my friends, the classic unattractive of the two. I'm the one guys will ask for the other girls phone number. I used to have no problem with that, but its finally become insulting. Guys need to realize that the less attractive of the two girls knows she is less attractive, and the fact that the boy is overlooking her for her friend without realizing it, is hurtful, and sometimes offensive. Of course, it is quite possible that I'm reading too much into this, but in my experience over the past few years, this has happened to me numerous times. Well, a lot more than "numerous". We'll leave it at my fair share oftimes.
Once again, this is not a call for attention, but mearly a gripe.
My other gripe is band. I want nothing more to be in wind ensemble, and my band director is leaving me as the only senior in concert band. This is embarrasing. Truly. Especially since I know I have the ability to play in Wind Ensemble. I'll be the laughing stock of the entering freshman class. *oh joy*
