For everyone else who doesn't watch GG, just bear with me here. I don't know when this LJ became a fashion blog, but these posts are a hell of a lot more fun to compile and to read than all of my angsty rambles. I have to admit, the only reason why I still watch the show is to see what Blair and Serena are going to wear (also for the Chair scenes too!), so it only makes sense that I will go on and on about the clothes. Anyway, here's two different outfits from shooting I was drooling over at L-Meester.org (my new favorite Leighton Meester site!!).
Here's the first, a cute dress paired with a light blue cardigan, red tights (a Blair trademark), and a pale yellow headband. I can't rave enough about the headband. This one's almost as cute as the bright yellow one she wore in the pilot. More yellow headbands, please!
Gorgeous brown curls!
Serena's dramatic aqua dress is also pretty as well, but I still prefer Blair's more feminine, understated style.
The second, I just have to blog about, despite the fact that everyone has already seen it. Yes, it's the Kiss Heard 'Round the World, and it just makes me giddy like the fangirl I am. Note that this may be a red herring to throw off viewers, but they just look so good together and we've been deprived of any Chair action for so long! Even if it's fake, I guess it's good enough for me.
About the actual outfit: I'm not crazy about the color of the coat nor the bright flourescent yellow pumps, but the way the coat flares out is so girly (it could pass as a dress) and the bright green makes me excited for the spring (Remember that lovely green coat Blair wore at the end of last season when she destroyed Georgina? I don't know why I keep referring back to Season 1. Call it nostalgia.)
I really want to know what he's saying here!
Just noticed the pretty detailing on the front of the coat. Cute bag as well.
One last one:
Well, there you have it. I don't know about you, but I am REALLY excited to see these outfits featured in upcoming episodes. No, I don't have any information on the designers yet. Thanks again to L-Meester.org for the wonderful pictures (go check it out!).
