What are your thoughts?

so I've been working at starbucks for 5 months now. I transfered stores because the one I was working at at the mall was stressing me out and was too busy/unfriendly/was overhiring and only giving me 4-8 hours a week. So now I'm at one a couple towns over and things started out ok. But now they're only giving me 4-8 hours a week and the manager and assistant manager have put up a notice in the back saying that they're hiring 2-3 new supervisors and they're basically not responsible for our soon-to-be-reduced number of hours. I feel like just looking for a new job at this point. The notice said if we want more hours, go let other stores know. Shouldn't one be able to get hours at their own place of work? I mean granted there are a lot of Starbucks out there but I need some consistency.
