apple bees fun...
last night i went to applebees with jesse, justin d., justin and david. nina was working so we sat at the bar and got some drinks. i was sitting next to this old mexican guy that i recognized from red robin because he would come in like everday and sit there and get really really drunk. so im sitting there and all of a sudden he starts like talking to me, and saying he does karoke and louie bees or whatever that bar is called. so we all start laughing because nina goes there like every night. so anyway..
he starts singing to me! he was singing elvis and all kinds of other people. he sang for about an hour. it was so funny. but i could just feel my face turn beat red. all the guys are laughing and egging him on and im just sitting there crying from laughing so hard. and he is just doing his thing.. he was singing so loud and trying to hit those high notes that everyone in the damn restaurant looks at us. holy shit it was the funniest thing.
so then he has a polariod camera and yells at mira (aka nina) and takes a picture with her. he showed us all his pictures and he had already gone to roadhouse and got drunk and took pictures there and so this was his next stop apparently. so then we are looking at his pictures and all of them are of girls.. this guy had like hundreds! he kept saying.. i dont mess around.. i get around! and we started laughing.. and he was like they call me showtime.. showtime steve. and he was saying that he cant help it if he is a cassanova, and a giggilo. hahaha.
justin started to take notes. cuz he cant get the ladies. so his notes consisted of:
-have a cool nickname (giggilo J)
-have a polaroid camera on hand
-you have to know how to talk
-know how to sing
-have a cane
-sing whenever possible
-have a taxi service on speed dial
there were a few others. but the last one is my favorite. becuase he fucking did have a taxi on speed dial! and the guy told us when he came that he had been driving mr. showtime around for years. its funny, but its really sad. but its his lifestyle choice and he was having fun. that was the best night ever. i was sang to by an old drunk man. i can die happy. haha.
