"I'm looking for a heard headed woman. One who'll take me for myself. And if I find my heard headed woman, I won't need nobody else. No no no.. I'm looking for a heard headed woman. One who'll make me do my best. And I find my heard headed woman, I know the rest of my life will be blessed, yes, yes..."
Hey everyone. How's it going? And I say everyone - meaning all two of you that actually read these things (Karyn and Danielle? And maybe Lea. And that's why I like you all better than everyone else!)
It's been awhile since I have posted on here. No, I didn't forget my password. Yes it is, however, 1:40 AM. My summer book is calling my name, so I will stay on the computer until I either a. fall into it's trap or b. fall asleep. Either way.
For those of you keeping up-to-date details on my DVD collection, I purchased the Woodstock DVD and a Rolling Stones DVD. All I need is a Bob Dylan DVD and I'll be happy (hey.. wait a second). I can't wait until they arrive, we spent more than $25 so we qualified for Amazon's free shipping. It's basically free except you have to wait for them to mail it. So I should see it in a week. Hopefully... Amazon is usually good at guestimating their ship times though.
A Les Mis song just came up on my random iTunes playlist. I can't listen to it anymore. It brings back too many painful memories (A heart full of light, a night bright as day. And you must never go away.. Cosette Cosette!) Ahhh.. need to skip need to skip. Oh good, a Jamaican mix of Wild World.
I think I'm going to be working for Dynamite. They have a bunch of installs around the country and Gene wants me to help out on some of the local ones. Groovy. On that note, I think I'm pretty much decided to spend a week in Baltimore with my extended family. I also have to help my cousin out at the Smithsonian... Should go good to get away from this shithole we kindly call Cherry Hill.
Anna, if you are reading this instant message me (trigon420). It's kinda weird, I was in the car when Gregg called you, and I just read some of the stuff on your LJ, you seem cool. :)
I dunno. I'm really looking forward to going back to school. It sucked the beginning of last year and yeah... I hope it doesn't happen again this year, but I don't think it will. Senior year.... god.... The DVD has Joe Cocker doing "With A Little Help From My Friends". I may cry because it will remind me of my youth and the Wonder Years. I can barely listen to his version without tearing. Should be cool, I get to see Joan Baez do her little thing (and she was pregnant with Dave's baby at the time of Woodstock [not Dylan's kid...].) She performs pregnant. It's pretty good. Guthrie does his walking down the line bit, The Who do See Me Feel Me and of course Hendrix does the stars spangled banner on his Strat. I can't wait, 3 hours and 45 minutes of pure hippiness. :) The Rolling Stones DVD has Sympathy for the Devil and You Can't Always Get What You Want. It will be interesting to see what tuning he uses to play YCAGWYW, he either plays the entire set with capo on 5 or he has his guitar on some weird tuning that would break any other normally strung guitar :). Gregg is coming over to play/sing Cat Stevens with me. I should record some stuff and post it.
Went to a BBQ tonight at the Cooper River Park. It was cool. I will explain more later, I actually ended the post and noticed that the title was BBQ so I had to throw something in their about it. Anyhoo, I will try and post
later today. Hopefully Gene will call me and tell me to work. :)
Welp, I better go to sleep, perhaps I will read before I do, it usually knocks me out worse than Niquil...
Peace, Love, and Safety.....
