Psych: Lights, Camera...Homicidio!
the first time we got a different theme song (..besides the Christmassy stuff)! This episode has Shawn hired to work on a spanish telenova, with a horrible accent and horrible hair, and Gus is totally engrossed with the show itself, and it's ridiculous and hilarious and I never ever get tired of it. I have so many faves, but for some reason, this has always stayed at the top.
Strangers With Candy: AHHHHH HOW DO I CHOOSE BETWEEN TO LOVE, HONOR AND PRETEND (gay bowling of gayness! jackal! Tammi! Jerri's nails! Noblet's toys!) AND HIT AND RUN (macaroons! Jellineck's face! ~ I saw Frightened Rabbit tonight! okay, so it was in a standing only place, which I figured, and there were two opening acts, and my back was KILLING ME. and then my SHOULDER started to hurt a ton, and the first opening act.. wasn't that great? the singer was cute, but eh. and of course, I was ALL ALONE and feeling like a total fuckup the whole time, and it seemed like EVERYONE was smoking so it smelled gross and was like 43984 degrees. so I was all melodramatic and thinking WHY DID I COME TO THIS?? THIS IS SO NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
but then Frightened Rabbit came on, and they were awesommmmmme. :D they did all but ONE of my fave songs, and they kept digging how much we were cheering for them, and I feel that one band member totally resembles Jim Alodi a bit. aaaand they filmed footage for an upcoming music video for Living in Colour, and the cutest thing was when singer dude Scott was like "we've never been to Newport before.. or Cincinnati, whichever" and then added that he never got a chance to try the chili, so would anyone take him to have some? XD and naturally some people in the audience were all GOLDSTAR! and others were like SKYLINE!
Modern Leper was amaaazing, and everyone loved Backwards Walk and Good Arms vs Bad Arms (which was SO FANTASTIC OMG) and they did Keep Yourself Warm--which was so much FUN to sing along with--and Old Oldfashioned and EEEEEE The Twist!! and oh. OH. the encore with Poke was so gorgeous, and everyone kept trying to shush the people who were singing or clapping along. <3 I took a random picture during it.

~ Day 07 - Least favorite episode of your favorite t.v show
for SWC, probably.. A Price Too High For Riches. I love every single episode, so this is really hard! this one had like, zero Geoffrey. isn't that reason enough??
and for Psych, I suppose.. He Dead. again, I love every episode, but He Dead is the ONLY episode I have ever come CLOSE to wanting to slap Shawn. so we'll count it. ;P
