Haha, aww, Japanese stuff! That's so great! I love those cute little cell phone dangly dealies. I'm surprised they haven't caught on over here - at least, I never see them being sold.
When I was little I named all the beagals (sp?) I ever had Snoopy because I wanted to believe that he was real. And I was always disappointed that my Snoopys didn't sleep on top of their dog houses. [/random]
When my little brother was about ... 3? 4? ... his favorite "stuffed animal" was a plastic Snoopy piggy bank. He slept with it and everything.
Thing was at least a foot high, and he was dressed as a cowboy with a vest and a big ol' hat. Made of thin white plastic and had once been painted, but the color had rubbed off of just about everywhere but the black on his ears and nose.
Snoopy was married to Ginger, my All-Time-Most-Favorite stuffed animal (a golden-brown and white stuffed dog) and they ruled over all the other toys and dolls in our household.
I forget where Snoopy came from or why he got attached to him. But I do remember that both Snoopy and Ginger started showing their age and poor Snoop was much cracked and in danger of falling apart altogether and had to no longer be slept with lest he get smashed. But he did come apart eventually, sadly.
I still have Ginger, missing a nose, and with bald patches and reattached tail and ear.
