A Little Panicked
Well, Jason and I found out on Friday that we were going to have to move out of our wonderful place and find a new one because the owners of it were selling it. Well, today I found out why they were selling it. Because they haven't been paying on it, and they owe almost $3,000. A cop came to the door (I think to serve an eviction notice), but upon discovering that the owners did not live here, got any info. I had for them and left. So, what we thought was at least 120 days to find a new place may quickly turn into no time at all. I sent a copy of our lease to my mom, and I'm pretty sure Jason will be contacting his parents to get their lawyer involved.... I'm not sure what our rights are if the place is taken from the owner. And now, I have to go to work. Oh joy!
