What a Day....
So, it's almost 11am and I've already had quite a day. First, I see on the news that we're supposed to get 3-7" of snow tonight, and that it's supposed to rain this afternoon. So, I head to the car to put the spare tire on since something happened to the tire (it was either slashed or run into something.... I'm guessing slashed) I find the tire iron that Jason couldn't find, and I get out the key to take the special lug nut off. Well, all is going well when, the special lug nut after 15 or so minutes of trying WILL NOT COME OFF!!!! It didn't come off so much that I basically broke the lug nut--- so, I guess that tomorrow morning we'll take it to the Toyota place down the block and see if they can get it off with their power tools (and maybe give us a new special lug nut?). So, I was planning on heading to the store after that, so I do. It's 5.99 pizza night at Dominick's so I think "hey, since it's supposed to snow, why don't I pick up pizzas we can bake tonight?" Then, I think "why don't I get some other food and alcohol so we won't have to run to the store tonight at all" All is going well until I get about half way home and can barely carry everything I have. A nice lady bringing her dog in helped me out, took 2 of my bags, and let me in the building! SOOOOO SUPER NICE!!! So, I get off on my floor (the nice lady has already left the elevator on another floor), and I leave 2 bags in the elevator, while I'm putting the bags on the floor outside of the elevator, the door starts to shut, so, I drop the 2 bags I have in my hand to grab the last two. Well, with my luck, one of the bags had this HUGE bottle of rum in it which busted ALL OVER THE FLOOR. Yes, that's right, I ruined an $18 bottle of rum!!!!! So, I cleaned the carpet with the carpet cleaner stuff I bought and now I'm sitting here sulking because my day has sucked..... I can't wait until Megan and Gina get here.
