New Jersey...not completely horrible
So the subject lends itself to the continued joke on the drive from Mel's house to somewhere in New Jersey (Bound Brook, maybe?) today. We sort of made the entire state our own personal punchline...sorry New Jersians (is that right?). We went to see this band Parkway South play because Miss Mel is friends with the drummer, Chris. It was fun. I didn't really know much about their music before the show (I was keeping Mel company along with Lauren and Megan) but I ended up enjoying the show. The band actually kicked a bit of ass and I was pretty excited about my free CD and t-shirt (everyone knows that "free" is like my most favorite word with "clearance" coming in at a close second). The ride was kinda far, but I could deal with it again to hear that particular band (are you reading this Mel? That means if you are going to go again that I would be delighted to accompany you). Besides, I thought the Andy guy was cute. Well, I think I will go and pop in a movie to fall asleep to...I'm thinking maybe one of the Lord of the Rings movies...maybe I'll have happy Legolas dreams.
