My Break So Far
Ok, so I haven't posted on here in FOREVER so I figure I will update everyone on what has been going on in my life. Finals went ok for me, I was very very glad to be done with them though. I was very sure I made a horrible grade on my Linear Algebra exam. That behind me, I left with Rachel at about 2 on Friday afternoon for Pearl, MS. We got to pearl about 4:30 I guess and her Brother-in-Law, Xan, is cooking us steaks. Yay! So I ate with the fam for a while and talked to Xan about frat stuff and math and physics. It turns out Xan is just as big a nerd as I am when it comes to math and science. So we went to Borders that evening while all the girls went to McRae's. If you ever saw a picture of Xan, you would think I was his little brother so I thought it was pretty funny because it looked like a big bro/little bro trip to the book store. Anyway, I bought a book and has some cake and other things. Saturday we went shopping at a lot of places then we went and played with puppies at petsmart. I seriously held a dog for about 30 minutes and that was awesome. Then I saw the cutest black lab puppy in someone's cart. I just about grabbed it and ran. We then went to eat and proceded on to the Old Capitol in Jackson where we looked at old stuff and saw model trains. We wanted to go see 'Birth' that night but when we got to the ticket booth the lady told us it sucked. So we rented Dodgeball and Lock,Stock, and Two Smoking Barrells to watch. I watched Dodgeball, thought it was hilarious. Rachel saw the first like 10 minutes of LSATSB hated it and we turned it off. Sunday we went to church, had gumbo *smile*, took a nap, ate at Outback, and watched Stepford Wives. Monday we came to Springhill. We got her settled in the bed and breakfast my family owns here and then we went to eat with my family at a mexican place. We drove around and looked at lights for a while before hitting the hay early. Tuesday we drove to Shreveport and went EVERYWHERE. I mean, we hit 2 malls, toys-r-us, a couple of stores, downtown, and my favorite restaurant. Wednesday, we went on a picnic near where some cows were grazing. Rachel thought the cows were after us or something haha. She wanted to pet one but on the way to the cow she thought it was going to charge her, jumped in my truck and almost drove away without me. To get back at the cow we definately chased it with my truck. I bet its tramutized now. I got to play tennis with the team that afternoon and then we went shopping for a hayride we were going on that night with my church. The hayride was freaking cold but it was fun caroling to everyone. After the hayride we came back to eat with my fam again and then went to Jenny's house to talk for a while. We went to SEE-SAW in the park but only got to stay a minute or two because I about froze to death. Anyway, we went back to the B&B and watched Liar Liar. Thursday I took her back to Pearl and that ladies and gentlemen has been my break. Absolutely fantastic because I've been with the greatest girl ever.
