I have to say, I'm pretty impressed that the Golden State Warriors are in the second round of the playoffs. I certainly didn't think they had much of a chance against Dallas. Even as the Warriors piled up victories, it seemed more like the setup for a dramatic comeback by the Mavericks. Instead, the Warriors made NBA history by being the first No. 8 seed to win a best-of-seven series against a No. 1 seed.
And former Kentucky Wildcat Kelenna Azubuike came off the bench to put the cherry on top! Outstanding!
It wouldn't be outrageous to suggest that Golden State could advance past the second round; they won the season series against one of their prospective opponents and split with the other.
