It was brilliant, wasn't it? We should do things like that more often. Or all meet up for tea and cake and pie or something!

And I have no idea what a Disney Princess is but I was so excited to be outside again! I can't wait till the warm weather really gets here - we should all have a big picnic!

It was! I had the most fun I've had in a long time. That should definitely be a monthly occurrence.

A Disney Princess is like Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty - sings with the birds, wears long pretty dresses? They've got most of the movies in the lounge, you should watch them sometime.

Definitely when the summer arrives and it stays daylight for longer so we can stay up late giggling and driving the men mad.

I might do that. I've not really watched many films. Dad had some old ones when I was a kid, stuff like The Muppets and that.

Yes! And this time we'll be able to run around in tiny lingerie and not have to be all bundled up.

You should! They're really good films, even when you're an adult.

I always think that cocktails are better suited to the summer. Cold weather makes me crave mulled wine to warm myself up.

I might watch them next time life in the house is getting me down and I want to be distracted for a little while. I always think far too much after reading.

I've never had mulled wine before! Is it really good?

You should! My favorites are Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast. The production values on Beauty and the Beast are just incredible.

It's fantastic. Spicy too.

Are any of them based on fairy tales?

They're all based on fairy tales! Well, most of them - I think The Lion King was based on Hamlet and Mulan is a true story.

I'm guessing Muggle fairy tales though. But if something is based on Hamlet I'll definitely watch it; I love Shakespeare.

Yeah, they are. Didn't you have stories like that growing up?

The Lion King is really great. I took a girl I was babysitting to see it in the theaters, and we both loved it.

I've read one or two Muggle fairy tales and they're very, very different to the ones I had read to me when I was a little girl.

Awww that's sweet. I'll need to have a Disney movie day sooner rather than later then.

Every child that grows up in a magical family had Tales of Beedle the Bard read to them at some point. Let's see, it had the stories The Wizard and the Hopping Pot, The Fountain of Fair Fortune, The Warlock's Hairy Heart, Babbitty Rabbitty and her Cackling Stump and The Tale of Three Brothers.

Of course! I've got a copy up in my room next to my bed. It makes me feel a little closer to home when I start to miss it.

Fantastic! I don't even have to leave the room to read it. Thank you!
