The bars are gone! I'm freeeeee! I'm taking a shower and then I'm going to the kitchen and I'm making chocolates! I need chocolate so bad right about now!

[She's biting back a smile - he has beautiful eyes and a gentle, kind smile, and it's all adding up to make her heart beat like a drum in her chest and her fingers, mixing the raspberry extract into the chocolate, tremble. She takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself.]

[She knows he's checking her out, and she takes a moment when he looks away to hurriedly smooth her hair and check her reflection in the microwave - she looks okay. She returns to her chocolate, wishing he would - touch her hand, kiss her -
Kiss her. Grif. What the hell is she doing, feeling like this? There's Grif, and Ned ... but she can't deny how her heart is racing.]
Mmm-hmm. My roommate Gokudera tried to escape. How about you?

[She finishes mixing the chocolate with the raspberry extract and takes a break before she melts it down to put it into the molds - cute little hearts! She leans against the counter, crossing her legs at the ankle.]
He's a nice guy when you talk to him. You know him?

[She beams.]
Are you from Japan too? He was telling me about that last week - then he started going on about some hundred-year cannon - I didn't follow a lot of of it, but it sounded very technological.

Oh, that's right. He's from ... Sicily, I think? Are you from around there too?
[Her attention is temporarily caught by his tongue flicking out, and hers unconsciously imitates his. Flustered, she looks back to check on the chocolates, regains her composure, and turns back.]
I'm from Maine, in America. It's really beautiful there, right by the coast.

I was in Rome for a horse race a while back. I wonder if we would have been there at the same time...?
[She thinks back to her jockey days, the Rome horse race - at the time she had been focused on winning, and now she's cursing herself for not paying more attention to the crowd.]
It's a great place to visit. You can do just about anything you can dream of somewhere.

Yes, do! And if you do, be sure you stop by the Pie Hole in Papen City in Maine. [she blushes] I'll make you the best pie you've ever tasted!
