Ominis Head Canons

I created my personal head canons for the non-profit indie dating sim game I'm a part of. I'm so excited for it to fly off and so happy with what I've written. I also had help with Ominis himself (the AI bot, that is. We always seem to be in sync, it's weird, I tell ya! I even resetted my account by deleting the old one and creating a new one, and still!!!) It seems that a few of my "colleagues" agree with what I've written and I'm over the moon.

Personality

• Cold at first and has difficulty trusting people
• His fondness for cats reveals this soft side
• Introvert - not actually shy, but is always reserved; likes being alone most of the time; loves the silence
• Emphatic to people he’s close to
• Has “mother hen” tendencies - always concerned with the well-being of people close to him and is very protective
• Scolds you whenever you get into trouble but still tolerates you - says you’re insufferable but loves you anyway
• Always calm and collected unless his friends get into trouble; he always gets exasperated whenever that happens
• A true-blue gentleman
• When you’re close to him, he’s very mischievous - jokes around, pranks you, teases you, etc.
• Witty, sarcastic, snarky, and mildly arrogant - will banter and have verbal sparring with you when you’re already close to him
• He is very kind and soft-spoken when not in his “mischievous mood” or when he hasn’t discovered the trouble you got yourself into yet
• Despite being good-looking, people tend to avoid him due to his Gaunt lineage and family background; people think he’s into the Dark Arts when it’s the other way around (we already know that he despises the Dark Arts in-game)
• Enjoys fashion despite not being able to see. He likes to dress up like a fine gentleman and keeps himself always prim and proper

Talents and Hobbies

• His hobby is sleeping anywhere (already seen in-game) - during free times on the floors and benches, and even during classes, causing him to get less than stellar grades sometimes, but when he does pay attention, he’s pretty intelligent
• He can play the piano by ear. He uses his wand to detect the keys, but his muscle memory already knows where they are and can play without it (90% of piano players can play with their eyes closed)
• Loves reading - uses his wand to read the books; enchants the books so he can hear the words in his head like an audio book if there aren’t any braille versions

Friendship with Sebastian

• He still considers Sebastian his oldest friend, but they aren’t as close as they were before the events in the catacombs with the relic and Solomon dying because of Sebastian’s recklessness
• They are civil and only hangs out with Sebastian if MC is with them
• Very snarky with Sebastian and is always quiet when with him; only speaks when he needs to when he’s with Sebastian
• Doesn’t talk about what happened in their fifth year because it’s still a sore topic for him and he doesn’t want to get into a fight with Sebastian; only gets resolved when MC helps them out and talk it out with the both of them

What’s he like when crushing on you

• Gets shy and awkward when he starts to realise he likes you more than a friend
• Similar to a stray cat that’s wary but wants to be loved so badly and yet doesn't understand how to get there
• He acts nonchalant, but deep down, he is screaming when you are being affectionate either friendly or romantically
• Likes your friendly hugs, arms hooked around each other, and any skinship you offer when in private as friends (usually in the Undercroft); doesn’t like PDAs even during friendship
• Sends you letters through owls just to check up on you and asks about how your day or weekend had been if he hasn’t seen you for a day or more
• He will vehemently deny having any feelings for you, often becoming flustered or defensive when the topic is brought up
• Resorts to teasing or mocking you as a way to hide his true feelings, which can come across as mean-spirited or sarcastic, then feels guilty about it internally and suddenly tries to make up for it by being extra kind (like offering to hold things for you, do something for you, etc.)
• May become jealous when he sees you with someone else but will deny it and pretend not to care
• Displays protective instincts, looking out for you without admitting it, such as helping you out discreetly or defending you from others

How he lets you know he likes you and how he confesses to you

• He will give you subtle hints first like endearing compliments, passing comments, subtle flirtatious jokes, surprise gifts, and subtle invitations to “friendly dates” during your normal conversation (e.g. “Of course, anything for my favorite person,” “And love you for it,” “Great job on passing your NEWTs. Here’s a Chocolate Frog as a reward,” “We worked hard taking care of your animals in the Room of Requirement. Don’t you think we deserve some Butterbeer at the Three Broomsticks? My treat.”)
• He will confess face-to-face at a private place and when you’re both comfortable, like when tending to your plants or taking care of your animals in the Room of Requirement, having a friendly date at the secluded park at the back of Ceridwen's Cauldrons in Hogsmeade, strolling around the Black Lake, etc.
• He blushes like mad when he confesses and tells you that he has developed feelings for you for so long and wouldn’t want to graduate without telling you about it
• He is straightforward when speaking to you about his feelings, holds your hand when telling you he loves you romantically for the first time, then hugs you tightly when you reciprocate, nuzzling his face in your shoulder

What’s he like in the relationship

• Always thinks of new places and activities to take you on a date every week
• If he’s generous as a best friend/crush, he’s even more of a giver when you’re together
• Doesn’t let an argument last for more than a day; always wants to talk it out and resolve the issue
• Doesn’t easily get jealous, but tends to get anxious when another guy gets your attention
• Very loyal - doesn’t engage in another girl’s advances because he doesn’t want to cheat on you even when inebriated
• Loves holding hands, playing with your fingers and palm, as well as caressing and kissing them
• He’s always sleepy and always has nap dates with you in the Room of Requirement; he’s always cuddled up with you, his head buried in your neck or chest
• He doesn’t let anyone see his hair getting messy unless it’s you and he loves it when you play with his hair or massage his scalp

• He is reserved and a little shy, but usually only the first few times since he’s a virgin before your relationship
• Cuddling is one of his favourite forms of skinship, so this is almost always how it all starts for the both of you in the bedroom
• He basically turns into a giant cuddle bug with zero personal space
• Likes to be the big spoon
• He likes to intertwine your legs and his arms around you - feeling your soft skin, playing with your hair, kisses on your forehead, cheeks, lips, and neck until it goes to every inch of your skin
• He likes to be affectionate when behind closed doors, but needs an emotional and strong connection first
• Listens to your requests, follows them, and always checks in with you to make sure you are enjoying what he is doing
• Also makes sure that you are happy with what you do - be it taking the lead or following his guidance
• He always lets you finish first and considers your pleasure before his
• Usually is very gentle, but when you ask for it, he can be rough with you; he can also be very rough when you kept on teasing him and denying him any pleasure at first
• Aftercare has him cleaning you before himself and making sure you're well taken care of before cuddling with you again; he likes to talk for hours after your session, talking about feelings, about the experience, what you both would like to do better next time and would like to try out, and so on until you both fall asleep
