So, if anyone was wondering whatever has happened to me... you see, my RL is busy. And will be for quite some time.
Got a new job, moved to another town, celebrated my godchild's first birthday and my best friend's wedding, so, yeah. Busy times. But good times.
Also, I had to plan my own wedding (it's still kinda hard to believe that I'll only keep my own last name for another month - I haven't even tried out my new signature, yet. But it's on my to-do-list.) We still have so much to organize now. Wedding dress, flowers, cake, food, photos... well, at least we already have the outfits, the location and the music organized, the rest is just details. The worst thing on our to-do-list is the dance class. We can both dance a little bit and have taken classes before, but somehow, we cannot dance with each other. Well, at least the waltz should look good, or the grandmas will give us both a sound talking-to. O_o
But, even though I am pretty sure we will fail spectacularly at the wedding dance, I am looking forward to August 1st. The party in the evening is going to be in a restaurant in an old castle, but the ceremony is on a little ship on the river Ruhr.
The best part, though, is that we get to celebrate our love with our friends and families. (Cheesy, I know. But that doesn't make it less true.) Since I finished university and now even moved far away from Westphalia, I hardly get to see my friends in person anymore. We usually just email or talk over the phone. And now we get to party together! Yay!
So, you can see, I am very excited and looking forward to everything. And once all that is organized, I may even find more time for LJ and fanfiction again.
