I was dubious on front loaders for a long time because there was hardly any water involved. "How can it clean if there's no water??" :P But my sister has one and Grandma has one and they are amazed themselves but swear by it. I like the fact that it uses so little water because we are on water restrictions.

I don't think there is a salvage place... but yes, I should look into that! Thanks. Let's just say there appears to be only one place in town to buy parts these days. Not happy with that!!

We have a small laundry and the top loader is in there still working fine. This one we wanted to test out outside because of the seal so it wouldn't flood the laundry (just as well, when you look at the pics! ;)). When we know we have it fixed up we'll swap the top loader out and maybe sell it on ebay. It's still a good machine!

I am very lucky to have Danny. I hope Mat can learn some stuff and have Danny around for a long while to help him out too, and that Bekah's man can learn from Danny a bit as well. I say that because I don't hold a lot of faith in the younguns! LOL. I can't see Bekah wanting anyone less than her Dad's standard which is good.... but might leave her a bit lonely ;)
