I hope Rebekah is ok?!

The one thing I'm kind of anal about in life.. is spelling. I spot spelling mistakese everywhere. Menu's.. brochure's.. websites.. and it irritates me. Because it reminds me that someone who can't spell is earning more money than I am.. haha! But as I get older.. I do 'typo's' all the time.. and sometimes I will have to stop and remember "how do I spell that"? I'm talking simple words!

I once wrote to a Geelong restaurant about their online spelling mistakes. I didn't get a reply. I was hoping to be thanked and given a 20% off dining voucher or something :-/ I also picked up Iain Hewittson on his use of the term 'succulent soups'. Succulent means juicy..and soups aren't juicy. He did email me back and basically said I was being anal about it.. haha! I haven't done anything like that lately though! Paul is a shocker with spelling and would get me to proofread his assignments when he did the course last year.

When we get together I will ask you about these LORE exercises..and their purpose etc..as I'm wondering what it's all about.

I once tried to spell a friends daughter's name that was actually 'Katelin'..but I had only heard of what the young baby's name was through my sister. So I wrote it in the card in all its forms (so I thought): Katelyn, Catelin, Catelyn,.. every which way except the way it was actually spelled! :-P

Parfait.. funny!

I wonder if you get my replies as an email? Probably not if you're anonymous?

Rebekah vomited last night too. :( She's barely eaten but is playing fine and enjoying herself. I'm not overly concerned, just wondering what's going on. Considered taking her to a doctor but figured they wouldn't give a stuff and would say it was a virus and she'll get over it and make sure to keep up her water so that's what I'm doing. I'm feeding her as she desires (which hasn't been much).

I had a real laugh at your second paragraph, spelling mistakes as mistakese. I know it was a typo but in the context it was just so funny :)

We were in a fish and chip shop yesterday (yes, naughty, I know) and they had painted up on their board SANDWHICHES" and it drove me nuts to the point of adding that word to Mat's spelling list :P
